"Extended Care " is an additional program Clare Court Kindergarten provides for families with children attending 4-year-old Kindergarten. It is an option for children to attend kindergarten all day, and an additional fee applies. It is available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, however the availability of access to Extended Care depends on which sessional group the child is enrolled in. For children to be able to access Extended Care they need to be enrolled in one of the two 12 hrs Kindergarten groups. (Echidna & Koala).

The extended care program is run in Unit 1 and is available from 12.30 - 5.30pm. The children have their kindergarten session in the morning, then stay on for Extended Care, which is open until 5.30pm. The fifteen Extended Care children, which is a combination of children from the Koala and Echidna groups, will join with eight kindergarten children to form the Bilby Group.There is a Qualified teacher, who plans an educational program for the children, based on needs as well as interests.
